We’re honored that you would consider being our guest at FBC for Sunday School or a Worship Service. Whether you’re new to church or have been attending for years, we want you to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Our hope is that you’ll feel at home here and have the opportunity to connect with others and grow in your faith.

And don’t worry—you won’t be asked to stand up and introduce yourself. We’d simply love the chance to meet you, get to know you, and help you feel comfortable as you join us.

Our worship service is arranged to communicate the good news of Jesus Christ. Service normally begins with the First Baptist Church Chillicothe Worship Team leading the church in music.
Our pastor then will come forward and share the message from the Bible. We conclude our worship service by responding to the message, normally through a song.
 Typically, our service last for about 70 minutes.

We have our own worship team with its own unique sound.
We sing both songs that have stood the test of time and are fresh and new.

Of course! We love children at FBC and offer age-appropriate environments where your children (Birth - 6th grade) will learn about Jesus and the Bible on their level.
We have excellent and well-trained children's and nursery workers who have passed all the necessary background requirements.  
We ask that you check your children into our children's area so that your children can enjoy a service tailored specifically for their age group.
However, it is also perfectly fine if you'd feel more comfortable having your children attend service with you.

Yes. We know that coming to a new church for the first time can be intimidating. When you come for your visit, our Welcome Center volunteers will greet you in the lobby and help get you and your family where you need to be. Our team of dedicated volunteers will do everything they can to make sure you have the best experience possible.
